When you import a recipe, Lima fetches the page content and sends it to the Anthropic API for processing. Photos uploaded for recipe import are processed in memory and immediately discarded — they are not stored. The structured recipe output is saved to your account.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate Lima.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from account settings. Upon deletion, all your recipes and books are permanently removed.
Lima uses only essential cookies for authentication session management. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Lima uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are visited. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. Because no cookies or cross-site tracking are involved, no consent banner is required.
